Knowing the truth of God’s Word is important to one who wants to follow Christ. Long ago, the psalmist said this clearly when he wrote, Teach me O LORD to follow every one of your principles. Give me understanding and I will obey your law, I will put it into practice with all my heart (Psalm 119:33 – 34, NLT).
To those who desire to be Christ-followers, the study of the Bible is as important today as it was long ago. Here at Living Bible Fellowship Church, this is an enjoyable aspect of our life together as a church family.
The joy of study and relationships is realized not only on Sunday, but also during the week, as men and women get together to study the Bible. The men enjoy both spiritual and physical food when they gather at a nearby diner for breakfast and for their time of study. Women meet informally at the church for coffee, conversation, and Bible study.
These enjoyable times help us get to know each other, as well as be challenged to better know God and His truth. Then, we too can join with the psalmist in saying, How I delight in your commands! How I love them! (Psalm 119:47).
